What is the Magic Bit in the Middle? In short: It is a philosophy (sort of) that argues that between the strategic side of business and the technological side there is a little something in the middle that we need to understand better. It seems magical because we don't always have a good understanding of it. In fact this may not only be relevant for these two (sometimes very disconnected) areas, but also other areas in life and business where things who can support each other seem to be working against each other.
For now this website serves as the home for mBiTm and is hosted on a server that supports ways of trying to understand those Magic Bits in the Middle.
Business Diagnostics One way to help get an understanding of the BIT is through business diagnostics in areas such as Organisational Culture and CRM.
Late in 2007 and early 2008 a CRM Status/Readiness tool was developed by Kobus Smit (mBiTm) and Marielle Dellemijn (CRM Excellence) in collaboration and with the support of students from InHolland University in Alkmaar Netherlands.
